June 19, 2009 Phillies 6, Orioles 1

Power hitter Ryan Howard may have been held silent by going down four times on strikes, but he wasn't needed as The Bastard continues to shine. Antonio Bastardo weathers the bump in the road in his last start with ease, holding Baltimore to only one hit (a Melvin Mora homerun) through 8 innings and an easy win. Well, maybe not easy since it was a tight 2-1 Phillie lead until the 8th inning until Matt Albers loads the bases after getting the first two outs and Carlos Ruiz smokes one into the seats for the grand slam, putting the nail in the casket.
