| A very wild Tim Wakefield in the first inning, allowing two hits, 2 walks, one run scoring and loading the bases is bailed out by a hot Sox offense and a very happy Green Monster in a rout. Three doubles for Jacoby Ellsbury, Youk gets two doubles, and one each for Pedroia, Nick Green and George Kottaras. Green gets two hits on the day, knocking home 5 runs. Four of those RBI knocked Ellsbury home, as he goes 4 for 4 with the 3 doubles and the 4 runs scored. All but the 0 for 5 J, D. Drew got in on the action today. Wakefield gets the win in the pedestrian performance as he walks 6, but lack of clutch hitting for the Braves leave 13 men stranded on the bases. |
