Even Giants starter Tim Linecum gets into the act, helping his own cause by pounding out 2 doubles, scoring twice and knocking in two runs and going 4 for 5 at the plate along with a gargantuan 165 pitch effort in almost a complete game. |

Sandoval had a big evening at the plate. He lined a base-hit scoring two
baserunners in the 1st inning, doubled in the 2nd inning, tripled knocking in
a run in the 3rd inning and laced a base-knock scoring a run in the 9th
