April 11, 2009 Red Sox 10, Angels 5

In an reversal of last games score, the Red Sox get the bats out and give Brad Penny more than enough run support as Penny wins his Red Sox debut. And a bit of trivia for you - who hit his second homerun of the year today to become the first Red Sox player to two homeruns for the year? It is not who you might expect - Rocco Baldelli! With only 8 atbats on the year so far, Rocco in the 2nd inning scores the first Sox run with a solo shot over the fence. Little sparkplug Jed Lowrie also put one into the seats for the Sox for his first (and most likely only) homerun of the year.

The Angels steal three bases off of the combined +7 battery of Penny and Varitek and rip out three homeruns in a losing cause.
