| Three reasons why I just had to post this one - 1) Rockies backup catcher Paul Phillips getting a start behind the plate and goes 5 for 6 with 6 RBI, 2) the ungodly pitching line for Astros reliever Russ Ortiz of 2 innings pitches with 9 hits and 9 runs, and 3) entering the 8th inning, the Rockies held a 5-0 lead. After the 8th inning, it was a 13-6 Rockies lead with 14 runs for both teams combined in the inning!! |

Paul Phillips had 5 hits and 6 RBI as the Colorado Rockies outscored the
Houston Astros 15 to 6.
Phillips provided the offensive punch. He slapped a one-base hit in the 2nd
inning, stroked a base-hit scoring a run in the 6th inning, delivered a
base-hit knocking in a run in the 7th inning, doubled clearing the bases in
