| Looking at the line score through the first third of the game, the Reds had 4 hits with 3 of those being doubles while the Phillies had only one hit, and a score of 3-0. Who do you think led? The Phillies!! Jayson Werth's 20th homer of the season, a 3-run blast in the first inning after a HBP and a walk enabled that to happen, and the Phils led throughout the game until things turn lively in the 8th. The Reds got two in the top of the 8th on a Jay Bruce homer off of Chad Durbin to take the lead, but the Phillies come right back to get those two back in the bottom of the inning and hold on with Brad Lidge going a spotless 9th for his 16th save.
